But there's plenty of room for debate about what are the best Springsteen songs. Everyone loves making lists. They're cool to look at. They're fun to debate. Thought I would have some fun and create my favorite 30 Springsteen songs.
These are not Springsteen's best 30 songs. These are the songs that move me the most, whether it's because of a time in my life when I first heard the song or an especially vivid concert memory.
These are the songs that make me come alive, that make the hair on my arms stand up, that quicken my heartbeat a bit. Springsteen has released hundreds of songs. Whittling them down to 30 was like trying to name my favorite child. (Meaghan, Lyndsay and Erin tie for first place in that list).
